About Ciconia
Originally, Ciconia Aarhus Private Hospital was uniquely a fertility clinic but, in response to demand, we expanded our work so that it now includes 16 specialities and their sub-specialities. We remain a leader in fertility treatment in northern Europe but now also show excellent results in other specialities, achieved by some of Denmark's most skilful specialists.
Today, we have 30 permanent employees. More than 50 specialists and experts are associated with us. We also employ laboratory technicians, nurses and medical secretaries, all of whom do their utmost to provide our patients' with the best possible service.
One of our essential goals is to offer not only hospital treatment but rehabilitation. This means that our patients benefit from a complete health-care chain that includes all the factors necessary to return them to their former daily lives. Naturally, patients experience physical improvement thanks to our treatments, but we are always attentive to ensuring their psychological and social health as well. Lifestyle and a healthy approach to life often play a major part in good health.
