Orthopaedic surgery
The Ciconia Aarhus Private Hospital orthopaedic department treats injury and illnesses affecting the bones and joints. We used modern image-diagnostics (x-ray, ultrasound- and MR scanning) to determine the precise extent of the injury. Any surgical intervention necessary is done by our experienced specialists. We often use non-invasive scope surgery and, after the operation, our physiotherapists help you with targeted rehabilitation. If surgical intervention is not necessary, our physiotherapists will help you with exercises and treatment.
We reconstruct crossed ligaments, perform cartilage- and meniscus surgery, intervene to stabilize loose joints and operate to correct and improve damaged joints. Treatment is always followed up with rehabilitation led by physiotherapists and with advice on injury prevention.
