3-D and 4-D scanning
Our bodies are three-dimensional and this should naturally be reflected in a scanning of your child. Discover the fascination of seeing your child in three dimensions with 3-D/4-D scanning. See your child move in the womb. The quality of 3-D/4-D scanning is so good that you can see not only your child's individual features but you can also thrill to the sight of its movements and expressions. Afterwards, you can take the recordings home on a DVD, CD, USB memory-stick or printout so that you can enjoy them again and again. The advantage with 3-D/4-D scanning is that 3-D images are much easier to read than traditional images and, with 4-D, you are able to see the child's movements as well. Technology makes it possible to zoom in close so that you can clearly see your child's hands, feet, stomach, arms, feet and face. The scanning can be done at any time during pregnancy but, for good pictures of your child's face, there needs to be sufficient surrounding amniotic fluid. As well, slightly older foetuses have more flesh, which is why we recommend that the scanning be done after 24 weeks. The scanning causes no discomfort of any kind and we take the fact that you might have difficulty lying on your back into consideration. The scanner is moved around the outside of the abdomen and you can watch the process on a screen. No harmful effect to the foetus has ever been documented.
